Rachael Phillips, LMSW
Practice Owner and Licensed Therapist
As a licensed therapist with over 9 years of experience working in the clinical field, my goal is to create a safe, relaxed (sometimes even funny!) and judgment-free space where you can become the best version of yourself.
During my graduate studies at Wayne State University, I specialized in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), but my primary goal is to build a strong connection with my clients and engage in meaningful, impactful conversations.
As an LGBTQ-identified therapist, I have specialization in LGBTQ-related experiences, but I love working with individuals and couples of all backgrounds. Having been in the client seat myself, I know how challenging it can be to find the right therapist. That’s why I strive to create a supportive and comfortable space where you can have meaningful conversations that foster real growth and change.
When I’m not working, I love traveling, enjoying a good meal with a glass of wine, binge-watching a good show, and I’m always up for a Broadway show or a round of golf. I’m also a big music fan and enjoy browsing record stores to find new vinyl for my collection. If music is something you connect with too, I’d love to explore new songs or artists that might be helpful or even therapeutic for you during our sessions.
Grace Perreault, LLMSW
I believe therapy is a process of self-discovery that encourages personal responsibility, empowering individuals to take charge of their lives and create meaningful transformation. Throughout my graduate studies at the University of Michigan, I gained experience in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). While I am trained in this modality, I value a variety of therapeutic approaches. I will work alongside you to identify and practice therapeutic skills tailored to your needs.
I am a therapist who understands that mental health does not exist in a vacuum. Our experiences are shaped by larger systems, including social, economic, and political forces, and I believe it is essential to acknowledge how these impact our life. My work is grounded in an awareness of identities, and I strive to create a space where clients can explore how these identities intersect with their personal experiences.
When I’m not working I enjoy trying new restaurants, taking Pilates, going on Pinterest, reading non fiction or memoirs, and listening to music.
